May 6 - 10, 2010
5 Days, 4 Nights
Santa Fe is a world-renowned destination unparalleled in richness of history, heritage, art and culture. Nestled in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, in the foothills of the Rockies, the area is immersed in natural beauty, and a long and thriving tradition of weaving and textiles. It is also home to some of America's most innovative quilting artists.
Our tour to Santa Fe will include docent led tours of its world famous art galleries, private receptions with local quilt artisans, a day tour to the famous Indian settlement in Chimayo where men and women keep alive generations-old weaving traditions, and of course the exquisite cuisine that has come to signify Santa Fe and the Southwest.
