McCall's Quilting Adventures returns to Ireland in 2010 with quilting expert .. Carol Doak! Brace yourself for breathtaking scenery, cultural delights, a long history of weaving and textiles, and of course, legendary hospitality.
Ireland has always had a special place in the hearts of Americans. Our trip will take in the dramatic beauty of County Donegal in the north, the sophisticated streets of Dublin, and the rural byways of County Wicklow, the garden spot of Ireland. Along the way we will sample the history, the culture, and of course the cuisine, of this beautiful and now thoroughly modern country. Plus, we'll meet local quilters , be welcomed into their quilting groups, their shops, and into their homes!
Ireland continues to be one of our most requested destinations, and this year Carol Doak will join our group to the Emerald Isle. Accompanied by premier local guides, Carol hosts our 8-day tour introducing you to a world of inspiration and seen through Irish quilters' eyes.
