Overview

travel for quilters Colonial Williamsburg is America’s largest, living history museum and a moving destination for anyone who loves quilting and America’s historic origins. Our inaugural McCall’s Quilting Adventure to Colonial Williamsburg will be a 6-day, 5 night experience you won’t want to miss, including 2 days in and around Charlottesville, Virginia.

Enjoy private, behind-the-scenes tours of the restored areas of Colonial Williamsburg including the Governor’s Palace, the Capitol Building, restored historic homes and costume and craft shops. Nearby we will also visit Virginia’s historic peninsula and the Jamestown Settlement, established in 1607 as the first permanent settlement in the New World. Here we will meet with the artisans responsible for making their collection of historically accurate clothing.

We will host receptions with local quilt artisans and still have plenty of time for stops at some of the well known quilt shops in the area.
